Welcome to 2026 where everyone's a coder

Vibe coding is a productivity miracle and a security nightmare in the same breath. A short note on what happens when non-coders start shipping bundles.

Quick Note

Welcome to 2026 where everyone’s a coder

“Vibe coding.” Hmm.

On the one hand, I’ve never been more productive at work, and I’ve shipped fun side projects that would never have made it past a fleeting thought before.

On the other hand… Claude and Codex have hit the point of adoption where people who’ve never read a line of code are zipping up Python, HTML and JavaScript bundles and passing them around like recipes.

At this rate hackers won’t need Mythos. They’ll just seed a repo called “awesome cool productivity hack,” wait for someone to pip install it or paste the HTML into their intranet, and they’re in.

Good time for companies to start sharpening up their IAM.
